hi
til the synthrack issue is fully addressed by cakewalk , there's a workaround
for it; a bit of work with the Jaws cursor , but definitely doable.
at htis time , while in the SynthRack view , up/down arrows do navigate between
existing synths; but the left/right ones do nothing as long as there are no
assignable controls.
when there are such controls for the current synths , the left/right arrows
navigate between them.
to add the first automatable parameter , after inserting the synth simply press
your Applications key , and choose the parameter to add.
now , the trick is how to get to the spot where you can further add assignable
parameters , since pressing Applications key will always open the menu for
automating that first parameter.
so , switch to the Jaws cursor or Wineyes mouse pointer.
next , move that cursor upward til you encounter the synth's name and the
tooltip says "plug-in name".
now , perform a left-click.
at this point when pressing your Applications key , you get the menu of
automatable parameters from which you can add as many as you like.
after adding parameters you'll notice that the left/right arrows navigate and
wrap round these assignable controls.
now , automating these is no problem; press the Applications key while focused
on one of them , and the regular menu with automation options , organizing into
groups , setting values etc will appear.
hope this helps
Roy.
