That's what I tried first before asking here, but I opened that and didn't
see anything in there, which I thought was odd. thanks for all the

Go to your hard drive using My Computer. Open "Documents and Settings. =
Choose the profile for which you want to copy the settings from, such as =
Administrator or your name, or whatever profile you want to copy the =
favorites from. You should then see the Favorites folder and you can =
copy that and zip it or just transfer ti through cable or on a CD to the =
other computer. The location where the folder is should look something =
like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites
