Kathy,
You can delete contacts drom your Iphone without ever connecting it to
your computer. Just double tap on the contact you want to delete, but
hold your finger down hard on the second tap and don't let up for
several seconds. You'll hear a noise, followed by the voice over telling
you that the contact has been moved. Now keep your finger down where you
held down the tap and slide your finger to the right. You should hear
"remove contact, double tap to delte". Double tap as instructed, and
you should have your contact deleted. Important: Now tap the home key
once. Otherwise, every app you tap will give you the option of deleting
it--which you don't want to do!
