Kim,
Follow these steps:
1) Select the entire document with CTRL+A.
2) Bring up the Styles pane by pressing ALT+O then S.
3) In the list of styles, there should be one for clear all. Press enter on
it.
That should clear all formatting including styles, hanging indents, centers,
right aligns, lists, bullets, fonts, etc.
Let me know if that doesn't fix it for you.

Question: I'm running Word 2003, and I need to know how to clear all
formatting out of Word before I send the document to Duxbury to translate it.
Does anyone know how to clear formatting from Word?
