Hi Steve, On most PCs, you can get to the boot options with F8. Do you remember which ones are for safe mode, and safe mode with networking? Thanks. This one is for the more techie of us. This file contains a .reg file to modify the registry so you can have sound in safe mode. This will allow you to use NVDA in safe mode and perhaps fix something that is preventing your computer from starting correctly. Have no idea what that means? Thats a good indication that you don't need to mess with this file. For those that do here is the link. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/63046125/nvdaNVDASAFEMODE.ZIP Steve To subscribe or to leave the list, or to set other subscription options, go to www.freelists.org/list/real-eyes To subscribe or to leave the list, or to set other subscription options, go to www.freelists.org/list/real-eyes
