Hmmm, this could be interesting. Just make sure we have a piano so Jim can do his famous, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reign Deer" song for us. <grin> I'm just wondering though, do you think there's a place in KC that could actually contain all of us and remain standing? <bigger grin> Robert Lee Beach Assistive Technology Specialist Kansas City Kansas Community College 7250 State Avenue Kansas City, KS 66112 Phone: (913) 288-7671 Fax: (913) 288-7678 E-mail: rbeach@xxxxxxxxx >>> sgeorge@xxxxxxxxx 12/15/2006 12:19 PM >>> This message is to all of us in the Kansas City area who might be interested in trying to plan a little holiday get together, maybe in that week between Christmas and new years. I've thought about doing this for a long time and, I think it's time. In the past before we were an E-mail list we were a wonderful users group with Jim as our president that had meetings and tried out new software. Losing our centralized meeting place and changes in everyone's lives has made it very difficult to keep that part of it going but, the list has thrived as a wonderful place to share information and help each other. I propose we try to get together for a small holiday party. Personally I think we should all invade Jim's house but, his wife Emily might have something to say about that so I was thinking we could probably find a restaurant on the plaza with a free private dining room where we could all meet, have some drinks and good food, and catch up with each other. Any thoughts? An y volunteers?
