Agreed Wendy. I feel like I have a really clear map of things around me
perspective distance objects moving around me. And yet I know others who seem
to be clueless about their environment. I had a little shadow vision before I
was six and wonder how much that has to do with it or just how my brain
conceptualizes things. Fascinating!

I really think the most amazing part of this whole thing is the visual cortex
of the brain being fired up and active when somebody is taking in information
in a way that is not necessarily visual. It sure does show something about the
way the brain takes care of information and what people are doing when they are
not seeing. Seems to indicate that we are all seeing in our own ways.
