The main highlight of this release is the new 'Radio Time' application which supports the vast and powerful Radio Time directory service. With this new SpeakOn application you can browse, search, play and preset from a choice of over 100000 stations and shows all over the world. A big thank you to Radio Time of Dallas, Texas, www.radiotime.com who made this possible by allowing SpeakOn to connect to their service free of charge. In this version, media support has been arranged in four applications: Media Centre, Radio Time, Last FM and VI Services. The first three applications handle mainstream media and the last one supports media provided by visually impaired community services. For those who are new to SpeakOn, it is a self voicing software environment for finding, retrieving and playing text and audio media. All media local to your computer or remote on the internet is presented in the same simple tree-like structure. You can navigate to the media you want, select it and it is automatically downloaded or streamed and played in the same SpeakOn player which handles both audio and text. All common audio formats are supported including MP3, WMA and Real.
