I have not used that software. There's another one called driver detective. I don't know about it's accessibility either, but I'm not sure how well these programs do at identifying correct drivers for the hardware if the correct base drivers aren't installed in the first place. So look for a freeware app called unknown devices. Also there's another cool freeware program called driver max that will back up your drivers in preparation for a reformat. This one does work well with jaws. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Campbell" <ray.campbell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <blindtech@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <VICUG-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2009 8:57 AM Subject: [real-eyes] Driver Cure Hello All: I've lately come across a program called DriverCure from ParetoLogic. It's supposed to notify you and help you update drivers for such things as your sound and video cards and other things. I'm curious if anyone has used this program with JAWS or Window-Eyes and if so, did you find it accessible? It doesn't seem that you should have to pay for something that you can fairly easily do for free, but let's face it, how many of us regularly update our drivers like we should?
