The Mopics list from WGBH is the only source I know of. The AMC movie phone
line will tell you if a movie is in DVS at a given theater. But without
waiding through a bunch of crap all I can do is call the theater box office
directly, then ask them three times if it really is audio described, or only
close captioned. In the AMC 24 on Bary Road it's only theater 9 that has
audio description, and 75% of the time they only put a close captioned movie
in there. It's all a big pain. Then the people aren't trained so they give
you the wrong headphones. Then I get ready to jump through their bullet
proof glass and strangle the young wet behind the ears clerk behind the
counter who doesn't know DVS from a toothbrush!

Subject: [real-eyes] Descriptive Movies in KC?

Hi, I know this subject has come up from time to time, but I would like
to inquire, what do people regard as the best source for information
about descriptive video for movies in the KC area?

Thanks a lot.
