Subject: [real-eyes] Comment on open book issues and question

Hi Rosemarie, I think it was you that had not been able to get Open book to
work for you. I have had this problem, and please let me know off or on
list how you resolved it, I am really interested. In my case, for a time
open Book was not working, and the fix was weirdly simple. I had selected
the wrong scanner model number. I had apparently reacted in error when a
dialog box came up asking me to select a scanner. I don't know why this
dialog box came up anyway, since it has been an age since I got my beloved
Open book. So I just reselected the correct scanner from the advanced
menu.So my point is, as Reg observed, hang in, it could be lots of stuff if
your Open Book is on the fritz.

Now on to my question. The list had about four months ago a program where
there was fifty percent subsidy of equipment. I thought I had the post
saved, but it is gone. I would really appreciate if anyone could repost
this. Best regards, Ginny
