Everything is panning out. See the link below. That is going to be our new
trailer. It is 8.5’x24’ (“old” is 7x14). That gives us an additional 106
ft2. Right now, the new trailer is in Georgia. I had considered going to
get it, but it is 9+ hours each way plus incidentals such as food,
bathroom, and fuel breaks. Then there’s the cost of the fuel. While I’m
happy to cover the time/ cost of getting the new trailer here from Boones
Mill, Georgia was just too much.
We can pick the new trailer up in Boones Mill for $4900. I just confirmed
with Ron Timma. He still wants the 7x14 trailer @ $2,200. He is willing to
wait for us to get the new trailer here and get everything transferred-over
first. That puts us in the new trailer @ a $2700 price differential
($4900-$2200) against a club approved differential of $2800. Gary’s
son-in-law’s offer was $2000 which left us short on the purchase of the new
trailer. I did give him a second chance to increase his offer.
The plan is as follows:
· Get the new trailer from Ga to Boones Mill
· Go get the new trailer
· Paint the floor and tailgate of the new trailer
· Pull the “old” trailer out of storage and empty it
· Remove/transfer hold-downs and floor blocks from the old to new
trailer
· Reload the new trailer
· New trailer back to the storage lot
· Old trailer to Crewe to Ron Timma’s house.
