Hello Mr. Gilsdorf,
Thanks for your email. We have our Meeting Room reserved all day for the
River City 3 Railers on Saturday January 23rd.. Our meeting room is a
little more than 700 square feet (36’ X 21’) so we should be able to
accommodate a larger layout than the 6 X 11 you mentioned but I’ll let you
make the call. The library opens at 10AM however I can have staff here by
8:30 AM (or possibly earlier) to let you in to set things up.
I’m actually on vacation today but stopped by the branch to check my
email. Feel free to call me anytime. If I’m not in you can leave a message
on my voice mail (318-8104). We are all looking forward to this interesting
and educational event.

Just wanted to touch base to ensure you had received the paperwork and to
confirm that we are on-track for River City 3 Railers to be displaying at
your library on 1/23/16. We need to confirm setup time, operating hours,
and the scope of the display.
We have a smaller 6x11 layout that was displayed at Midlothian Day and
Ashland Train day. This is very “kid friendly” and we’re happy to run a
wide variety of trains on it. We can also provide more on the line of
educational talks such as differences in train scales, locomotive/car
types, rail history, etc.
Please let me know so we can ensure a great train day for the Library!
