I am going to need the small layout for 1/23/16. Walt, if it is still on
it, the winter scenery will be great. This is for a display at the Bon Aire
Library for a children's day. This is a paying gig ($250). I need at least
one and preferably 2 folks to help out.
I have made arrangements with my co-worker Rob Johnson to finish the wood
work on the walk-through bridge. His wood shop is the best equipped I have
access to. We need to make two 1/4" Dado cuts on the lift-up for mounting
the truss bridge. He also has a full set of Forstner bits we need for
cutting-in the locating pins. Any question of "what's a Dado, or Forstner"
is sufficient to confirm that Rob's offer is significant to completion of
this bridge. I had originally scheduled this for the 23rd, but will try to
reschedule for the 30th.
Peter, I have the the Rossbed, but need the track for the bridge. Ken,
I'll cut it to length. Definitely want your help in mounting and wiring the
track. I need to look, but "I think" I have a safety interlock limit
switch. Walt, if I bring it to your house, would you be willing to do the
scenicing? This is a club module, so all materials are expensed to the club.
