Yup that is Matin Snow's Porsche (Melanie co-drives it when they race in the
ALMS Challenge cup, thus the two M. Snows on the window). But it is not the 911
GT3 RSR. Last time we saw that it had blue wheel flares or some such blueness
on the car. Paul help me out, I couldn't find a pic, what event did we see that
little beauty, and do you have a pic of it, Ray, Carl were you guys there?

OK, I was right I caught this Porsche in the garages and I just had to have
a pic for my own.

I think I got a shot of one of the Snow's Porsche in the paddock, I'll
look to see what I have. I saw it in one of the garages when I was wondering
around two weeks ago at the MPRA Round #1 race.

Thanks for the update Paul, very interesting!! Lot of crashes though.
Was Potter's Porsche smashed bad? I am glad I didn't miss the Snow's 911GT3 RSR
too, that would have caused me some pain, such a sexy car.

          For those that are interested.

Martin and Melanie Snow aren't racing their Porsche in professional
series this year. Instead they got a Spec Miata and are coaching their 14 year
old son. Madison, their son spent the weekend racing. Martin jumped in the
car during the Lap Battle laps to help turn the chassis. I think Martin just
can't stay out of a car while at the track. Madison didn't do anything stupid
but was about 5 seconds a lap off the pace.

New cars on the track and other happenings.

Randy Mitchell dumped the 2 liter Ford engine in his Van Diemen F.C
and replaced it with a 1,000 cc Suzuki.

John Potter crashed his Porsche when he started from the last
position in Saturdays feature race and tried to pass the entire field on the
front straight.

The Swift DB4 Toyota Atlantic and Formula Renault from Canada came
back. The Swift collided with one of blue Star Mazda's and took out the front
suspension of the Swift and the nose on the Star.

Mike has recorded the incident in the Spec Mazda race.

Check out Mikes web site or Ray's for photos.

The Lotus 2/Eleven came out to play.

The wings and things class had a huge field of 6 on Saturday and
started with 4 cars on Sunday and 3 managed to see the finish.

Ray the Rat even managed to show up in his usual suave & debonair
manner.

Overall it was a great two days at the track, infinitely better than
any day of work.

3 weeks till the SCCA Great Salt race.
