To change voices in either espeakup or piespeakup: See the file list in: /usr/lib/arm_-linux-gnueabi/espeak-data/voices/!v Note that to get there you will have to escape the ! in !v, like this: cd /usr/lib/arm_-linux-gnueabi/espeak-data/voices/\!v Then to change the voice to, for example 'f3', change the VOICE directive in /etc/default/piespeakup to: VOICE=en+f3 or preserve whatever you have before the + -- Michael A.
