Hello Jürgen,
I'll have to found CG, turning circle, and another picture !
Max speed ?
I've learnt , as a beginner, that the belief "increase of speed
generates increase of balance" suit to standard bikes only. Not to
pythons ( 20", 60° pivot angle, and -14cm nt.).
I've experienced that the feeling of safety has to be developed and
anchored for each extra km/h gained. Started from 10km/h, I'm now at
40km/h, or plus, on the flat.
A side bonus, I've learnt to increase my pedaling frequency, up to 100
/mn max. for now, for short periods (time for clipless pedals) keeping
the whole body, legs apart, totally relaxed.
Downhill, 40 to 45 km/h is common, max is 55 km/h for now. Good road
surface is essential, (and suspension needed, as for the flat).
Downhill is probably a matter of training and practicing, I could go
with the python in the back country, before the snow settles, and do
it. Do I want to do it ? No ! Time for snowboarding, and skiing, in a
few weeks !
Yes, Jürgen, à la prochaine !
