[python] Like a bird learning to fly...

Hello Listers

Another ride on my Python today.  I feel like a bird learning to fly.  Still
not 100% on the balance, more or less constantly dragging fingertips,
although I did manage hands up enough one time to shift gears.  When it goes
right the feeling is like flying.
