Fixing and washing is very important with these films. I suggest using something like Kodak's rapid fixer on it, following Kodaks directions for this film. I use two-bath fixing (with half the time in each bath. Then a one-minute rinse, a couple of minutes in KHCA, and a 10-minute running water wash. I do not get purple color after this. The KHCA seems to remove the last little bit of color. - -- ~ .~.
