Hello Jeffrey,

Thank you very much for bringing those images to our attention. I find it poignant that your e-mail came up just now as I have just finished watching a documentary on Chernobyl and it's aftermath. The documentary repeats at 1 am on CBC NewsWorld, "Chernobyl and After". If you want to know why those children are the way they are, the documentary explains it in very lucid terms. And it is going to get worse.

Who was it said, "Those who forget (ignore) the past, are condemned to repeat it"

Again, thanks for the images. Very powerful.

Best regards,
Bogdan

PS: CBC is the "Canadian Broadcasting Corporation"

I don't believe I saw this mentioned here on the list, and I thought it worth sharing.

This is a photo essay, done in B&W, of some of the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster.

Warning; as you may guess, some of the images might disturb some sensibilities.
