Allow me to offer my Canadian Best Wishes for A Happy Thanksgiving!

Here, it is a statutory holiday, second Monday Of October. It doesn't really have that much meaning here, seen more as the last long weekend before Christmas.... Certainly not the kind of importance that the event has in your own history.

Happy Thanksgiving from Los Angeles where its about 80F
and very dry. Someone on some list wrote from Vermont that
there is a foot of snow there. I reminded me of the song
"Moonlight in Vermont" the phrases of which do not rhyme and
are all haiku.
