Actually I'm now pretty sure it was 1 1/2 inch pipe. You just need to use enough to get the job done. Like you were going to develop two rolls of 120. You don't have to fill up the tube because you're tilting back and forth the whole time. For me that's about 500ml of my usual developer. Make sure the edge of the tube is very smooth. I sanded and steel wooled mine.

If I use the 2" PVC Pipe method for developing my 616 film, can you give me an idea how much devloper to place in the tube?
