        Hi Gianni,
My plane lands Nov 2nd. Maybe not the best day but that's the way it worked out. It's going to take me awhile to get settled . I'm hoping after capodanno I'll be sane. Or at least saner then now -)

hi nick!
first of all, excuse my delayed reply.

are you getting here for health reasons?

anyway, let me know where you'll be located: i'd *love* to meet you, if we won't be too far :) i'm located in faenza (ra), about 100km from florence and way around 170 from venice. it's on the east coast of italy, not far away from ravenna and rimini.

distance is a very relative concept: i've spent my holidays in south west nat'l parks three times --well, they've also been my only 3 times abroad and my only three holidays...-- and each time we drove our car for over 3 thousand miles; however, we didn't realize we were driving *so* much. in usa miles run away with no hassle or fatigue.

should i think of driving *one* thousand miles during my holidays in italy, i'd stay at home with a/c turned on and a bunch of dvd :)

to get back in topic, i shot some rolls of b&w ilford film with my rolleiflex in summer 2005 in the nat'l parks, but i got no decent prints yet. i think i'm not bad when shooting, but i can't get good results in darkroom; however it's funny even if i cannot get what i'd like to.

bye!
