Howard, I was looking for other possible problem areas for Mike's apparent
light fogged film process in open trays when I posted my recent experience.
I have seen this problem with several new entries into large format films.
The particular film that I was using this week is not new but I have had
similar experience with that film when it was new. There were doubts about
chemical fog and other questionable sources of fogging, but I don't recall
anyone pointing out other physical sources like a storage area or it's
contents/construction.

I have been less then impressed with the packaging of the film. It may seem
like a small point, but what to me looks like a cost saving measure, maybe
causing problems with distribution and storage aspects.

Kodak large sheet film, 20x24 etc, was a box in a box wrapped in foil. The
Bergger is a box.
