Hi all,

Note : This is going to be a long mail.

So SFD it is. To cut the long history short,
Software Freedom Day is a global celebration of free software - software that
can be used in any context, freely modified, shared and distributed in modified
forms. FSHM a part of FSFTN, as an organization has been spreading awareness
about free software, and celebrating SFD is one such way to promote the use of
Free Software among the common people in our society.

This year we are celebrating SFD is two parts.

people who are everyday computer users.
2. Public Outreach : This is aimed in us going to the people and taking to them
about Free Software and its impact in our society.
On the Student Outreach to happen, we are having two tracks. One talks on Why
Free Software and a few technological impacts that we have in our society and
the second track will be stalls demonstrating various tools and projects that
we are currently working on (Eg : Community Weather Station)
