I'm not sure if you got this question answered but you should be able to back up the whole track or just sections. When it says selected track hit the 6 or 4 key to move it to back up section.

I am afraid just at that time the lad will hit a home run or god forbid a triple and I will miss it. Of course I could record the game on the card and then transfer it to disk but here is the rub. When I go to back up to disk the unit always starts back at the beginning of the card. Seams like last year I figured out a solution to this problem but, a lass and a lack, my old mind isn't what it once was and I can't remember how I did it.
Yes I could go to my studio, record said games on dat, thentransfer them to disk but here is the reason why not. That would involve much more running and jumping and I am trying to do this the easy way since there are games on Tuesday and Friday afternoons for a while. Besides that would tie up my studio and I could do nothing but record the games at that time.
