Yes, you can record at double speed on the PTR2. I'm at work at present so don't have my unit with me but, from memory, I think this is done by selecting the "Custom" recording mode and then setting the required speed from the options.

I don't think that the PTR2 has the pre-set option for "Analogue Cassettes at double speed" as with the PTR1.

In other words you can do it but you do it in a slightly different way.

I'll check at home and will get back to you if I'm talking nonsense.
