Ah it's this thing about different versions for different regeions.
We in SA get the UK firmware which means that we get only the 24 hour
clock. I would like to choose whether I want to use the 24 hour or am and
pm clocks. I prefer the Am and PM clock but I am stuck with a 24 hour
version.

Latest info on the 24 hour clock is that it is on the wishlist for the next
North America firmware version, no ETA.

Should be able to go to menu, system settings, "set the system date and
time". Follow the prompts or just press enter to accept the value. When
you get to entering the time, enter as 4 digits then right or left arrow for
AM or PM. Then enter.
I believe that only US English and Canadian French do not support the 24
hour clock format.
Check the firmware version on both and update if not at 5.03..unless you are
happy with the way it works.

I have two PTP1's and one of them does NOT let me choose A.M. or P.M.
