Hi,

Are all these facilities available on PTR1? I don't recollect 'Book creator mode'.

Cheers,

Mike

Ray,

The simple answer is that the PTR2 will allow you to record and edit
audio in a variety of recording formats and from different inputs. It
will also allow you to add in DAISY navigation structure either during
recording or afterwards. All the functions are fully accessible.

A slightly more specific answer is that the PTR2 can be operated in 2
modes i.e. Normal mode and Book Creator mode. Normal mode is restricted
in the amount of editing that it allows you to undertake. For full
editing capabilities, allowing you to edit down to phrase level and so
on, you would use the Book Creator mode.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

Wondering what editing functionality there is with the PTR2.

Is there a similar set of operations that can be done when using memory
cards similar to minidisc, i.e. move, combine, delete etc.

In many ways MD provided me with much that I used on a regular basis,
but of course it was never very straightforwardly accessable.

Thanks for replies to the Milestone question by the way.
