Did you get a message from the server that said it had updated its user
record? If not then it did not get the complete update. If it did arrive
at the server and you got a message saying so then it should be in the
database. Only thing I can think of then is if the server sysop should
remove the database and reinstall the server.

Good thinking, that should help.

Think that is due to the alpha state of that server, this should not
happen of course.

There is a database and a perl script to handle it. Go to the
rflinkusers directory by: cd .pskmail/rflinkusers/

When you are there you can edit the data by entering:
./user_db.pl

Sounds ok to me.

No, but it helps if you are available on the mailing list and updates
your server data on the wiki (under servers) so that users can find the
server.

You can control the beacon within the file pskmailrc.pl (which you can
find in the .pskmail directory in your home folder). There is a
beaconarray there that controls the beacon behaviour. I commented that
as experimental a few years ago, guess its not experimental any more...
Anyway, the beaconarray looks like:
@Beaconarray = qw (0 1 0 1 1);

What it does is just an on/off switch for tranmission of beacons during
minute 0-4 at the top of the hour. Mine beacons during minute 1,3 and 4.

On behalf of all of us I thank you for that and I would just like to add
that I intend to write a user manual, soon...
