Hi Fred
Nice to meet you. I (Alan KD4QCL) had the pleasure of connecting to your
server a couple of weeks ago.
As you can see in my earlier post, I was wondering if all us east coast
folks could reach your server more often in a narrower PSK mode than PSK250.
Looking at the propnet site for 30 meters (propnet uses PSK31) we may be
able to get to your server more often with a narrower mode. Narrower
signal, higher power density.
Would you be willing to run a test by shifting your server to PSK63 or
PSK125 sometime to see if that extends DX?
Alan KD4QCL

Hi Rich,

I saw your signal on my server this afternoon attempting to connect to
WB5CON, N5ALE, KB2SDR, and KD5WDQ. The connect requests were using
client port 1025 for some reason. I have always seen port 1024 used
before. That may be why my server did not respond back to your connect
request. Perhaps Rein has added another port in the protocol and I need
to update my server.

73,
Fred - WB5CON
