Hi. First of all, thanks to all those who have made this system from the software coders to those providing servers. I came across it whilst thinking about an email and tracking system for a couple of Yachting trips I will be doing in the next few years. I now have a station setup at home using the , and have mannaged to to ping and connect to IS0GRB - 3 but am now coming across a few problems. I have tried reading all of the wiki and help but just confused myself further. Sorry if they may be obvious questions but I am new to this and Linux.
Firstly, for someone to send me an email, I must have an email address which must hosted at a server so that it may be forwarded over HF to my callsign. I assume that I must register somewhere to get this email address linked to my callsign. How do I do this? Is this related to the Mail Options (Pop hHost, POP user etc) setup? This brings me to my next problem in that I do not know what is required for these fields.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
