No, it uses only 2% on puppy...

Rein

Rein,
Could it be that it is using up all the resources on that PC? I know that on
my 220 machine if I try to run firefox, it will come up for a second or two,
then it is killed!

I have been trying to run the opencpn chart plotter on the new puppy CD.

I've got it running, but it crashes the X server on occasion... 'xwin'
restarts

the xserver, so no harm is done.

This needs experimentation and a lot of googling, maybe it needs a special
display format?

Anyway, I have uploaded the archive, it is called
http://pskmail.org/downloads/opencpn.tgz

It contains 3 .deb files and an icon, no charts. It will run without any
error message,

but it will crash the xserver at some point in time.
Those interested could give it a try, I ran out of patience :)
