assume that the bonus, if it's appropriate, has already been applied

Heh! Actually, I think this is ripe for footnoting:
"If your Kai Weapon is Illuminatus, you may decide that you should add
an extra 2 points to the Tomb Robbers' COMBAT SKILL as it is being used
underground."
Is the wording OK?
