I'm running Thunderbird 3.1 on my Windows 7 box and find it great.
Try closing the windows with ctrl-f4 (by default they open in tabs).
I have configured Thunderbird to open messages in seperate windows.

Hello all,
I recently got thunderbird up and running on my windows seven box.
I grabbed the thunderbird scripts I found (which were for 3.0), and
tried installing them. With edit.jss, I got a compilation error, and it
didn't install/compile.
Are there up-to-date scripts that will work with this?
If not, are there any accessibility tips? I can't get all the messages
that I open to close, for whatever reason, which is kind of frustrating.
