ok, hmmm I'll have to look the unit up and see what it can take, if I get a
comp with a quad processor, I'm going to want more ram, and I have to have at
least a 160 Gb HD, if not my stuff won't fit, I have only 40 Gb left on this
drive which is a 160 itself, so less won't work.

I'll take a look, and see what I can do with the thing and let you know if I'm
still interested.

I'm not fond of HP's, but I'll consider it.

BTW, if you don't mind, where are you at, I know I have talked to several folks
in the middle east about used computers since a very old in comparison computer
can run the equivalent of a "normal" families food budget for a year.

I'll let you know.

take care,

it's likely you saw the correct figure of the hard drive, but it was
gratefully brought to my attention that prices are certainly different from
place to place. the drive space on it is 27.9 GB, which i'm aware is small in
comparisen to what's sold in stores like target and walmart in some areas. as i
said in the previous message, i had originally quoted a price according to what
things are sold for locally for me, but all is negociable.

O man sorry, didn't realize that's how it was in your area...My
appologies... I just figured since you put it up online, many people might
think you're ripping them off... But I'll shut up now lol...

thanks for the help, and i don't think you're being rude, but truthfully
in my area, what you just described would cost nearly 700 to 800 dollars.
believe me, i have no intension of ripping anyone off. My purchase of office
was $199.00 USD, so selling it at $200.00 would suggest the hardware itself is
worthless. If i have only sell it for about 200, i would. i just need the money
right now, and was basing the price on what's available around here. as i said
it's totally negociable.

Not to be rood, but a system with these specs wouldn't sell for that
much. I can get a toshiba at my local walmart with 3 gigs of ram, a 250gb hdd
and a dual core processor at either 2.0 or 2.4 ghz for that same price, or
online another with similar specs for $300-350... Did you forget to include
something/misswrote something in the specs? I just wouldn't see this system
seling for $400, well I could see it, but it would be considered a rip off...
I'd give you around $150-200 for it because of offfice being included, that is
a plus... Now if you could upgrade the ram and hard drive, is it really 28gb?
if so then you could probably get more for it... Not considering to purchase,
just trying to help you out with this one so that you can get it sold...
