Hi Marv: I do not understand what you wrote except the Format Menu. That
works with the Forms Designer I believe. If you are attempting to
position controls on a Form using the Forms Designer I think you will run
into problems. I am not sure how well the JAWS Scripts will work to
position controls. Windoweyes does not work well, at least I have not
used that method of positioning controls. I have sent Bill my Tutorials
on positioning controls on a Form using standarrd positioning properties
of Height, Width and Location. He is putting them up on the Blind Geeks
site or you can ask him, or me, to send them to you again. They also use
the TableLayoutPanel control to position controls. I would be interested
to hear from others who use the Forms Designer to position and layout
Forms in Winforms projects using JAWS and the Scripts if they do it that
way.
Anyway, Bill has the positioning and layout articles so check with him on
the BlindGeeks list.

hi.
well using visualbasic dot net 2008 express.
doing a project and taking a vb class.
well when i submitted the first version of this project.
When the professor looked at it.
jaws 11 was messing it up.a
nd placed a group box control, inside another group box.
and all the controls were inside the second group box.
now.
did resend and rebuild the project.
and it is a lot better.
and think i might have fixed the checkbox problem.
needed to select the group box and the checkbox.
and then in the format menu.
select centre, in form, then set horozontal and vertical.
so think might have fixed the problem.
but still have not fixed the list box problem.
now.
do you think jaws 11 beta is messing up the form for the first version.
When the professor looked it in notepad.
well it was a total mess.
so wonderi fi use jaws 10 instead of jaws 11.
have given feedback to fs.
but could give them feedback again.
hope they fix this problem.
cheers Marvin.
