hmmm, if the job has nothing that requires driving, I would put my ID card number there and wait till the later interview to ask about it, out here in cal the numbers are identical, or at least mine is, my having started with a DL when I was 16 and still sighted, and (scary thought!) had a valid drivers license for four years after I lost my sight, *shrug* didn't want to have to pay for a new card, when for all my purposes the old one served just as well.
and even if there is a need for some transport, that can be worked on as well.

My pet peeve today on the job hunting front: jobs where a driver's license is listed as a requirement without any reference to essential job functions that can only be performed by someone with a drivers' license.
