I think you can get a view where you are typing into an HTML area rather than
their edit widget.

I wonder if anybody can provide any tips on how to edit the content of pages in
Wordpress. It seems to be a frame with an editable area. Is this useable with
JFW?
I finally gave up and just dumped the text directly into the database.
Thanks for any Wordpress tips that may come my way.
