Jared,
Yes, you can, since 1.5 if I recall (we're now on 2.0 and 2.5 should
come out in December/January or so). In theory, you should be able to
open any kind of netbeans project (e.g., Java, python, ruby, C++), so
long as you have the appropriate plugins for that language installed.
There are some features, however, that we've only built for our
language. For example, we haven't built an auditory debugger for every
programming language NetBeans supports.
