Hi Nick. You could try these links:
osswin.sourceforge.net/
www.pjsip.org/
These are source NAT libraries for windows. Well, you brought up the question at the appropriate time as I will have to develop just such a software in the new year. Anyway, a search on source NAT libraries on google yields excellent results. HTH and Cheers! ----- Original Message ----- From: <Nick.Adamson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: Source Network address translation (SNAT) software or libraries

Hi All.

I'm writing some software which is to work on a network which requires
Source Network Address Translation or SNAT or even Source NAT.
(They all mean the same thing)

Source NAT is the technique of replacing the source address field of the
IP header with a different address. In this scenario the rooters are
configured that the sender terminal has to put the broad cast address
for that terminal as the source address field. This is so that any
replies to the message can get through the router.

Does any one know of software witch intercepts the IP packet and does
this soft of ththing or a library which can do it. I really really
really want to avoid writing the IP header by hand.

Cheers.
Nick.
