Pubs and Northwind Database Experience

Dear members,
    I want to share my experience with SQL 2005 Express Edition. When I 
installed SQL management Studio,  I was surprised to see that Pubs and 
Northwind database are absent. 
    Microsoft publishes most of its Sample based on these two database. Isn't 
it strange they they are absent?  Has it happened with some one else before? 
Although finally I Restored database from SQL Server 2000 using T-SQL Scripts. 
But I am very Surprised.
