of course not, someone sighted could just see the image captured with alt-print screen

But sending a virtualized window to someone sighted won't work, thus Jacky's program suggestion would probably work best. You can read them anyway, but sending a text output of a window to someone doesn't work all that well.

Creating screen shots this is true, when your hitting the print screen it is possibly making ascreen shot, but you can't be sure, that was started way back, and I have noclue if Microsoft actually still has that function working.if it is, you would have to open something like paint, and paste the imageinto it and save it to get your "screen shot". it's safest to use a program like Jackie proposed to make sure of it. Creating screen shotsBryan, that's a copy of a virtualized window, not a screenshot. They're very different things. Christy, there's a program called irfanview www.irfanview.comthat's very accessible & from which u can make screenshots using a hotkey. On 3/1/10, Bryan Schulz <b.schulz@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:hi,it's control+insert+w then control+a then control+c then open up notepador word and hit control+v. Creating screen shotsSorry for the somewhat OT question here, but I've got an assignment forone of my classes that's baffling me. I tried google but no luck there. I'm using jaws for windows, and this project requires a screen shot of using process managers both in windows and in linux via VMware. The project instructions say that I can get this screen shot by just pressing print screen, but when I do that jaws just says print screen, then nothing. I tried using the pass key through and then pressing print screen, which resulted in jaws saying nothing, but no results either. So my question is, if it's creating screen shots when I do this, where's it putting them? If not, how do I do it? Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
