I tried it and pasted the clipboard into word. it put a large image into
the
document, but of course I couldn't see it.

this is true, when your hitting the print screen it is possibly making a
screen shot, but you can't be sure, that was started way back, and I have
no
clue if Microsoft actually still has that function working.
if it is, you would have to open something like paint, and paste the
image
into it and save it to get your "screen shot".
it's safest to use a program like Jackie proposed to make sure of it.

Bryan, that's a copy of a virtualized window, not a screenshot.
They're very different things.
Christy, there's a program called irfanview
www.irfanview.com
that's very accessible & from which u can make screenshots using a
hotkey.

Subject: Ot? Creating screen shots
Sorry for the somewhat OT question here, but I've got an assignment
for
one of my classes that's baffling me. I tried google but no luck there.
I'm using jaws for windows, and this project requires a screen shot of
using process managers both in windows and in linux via VMware. The
project
instructions say that I can get this screen shot by just pressing print
screen, but when I do that jaws just says print screen, then nothing. I
tried using the pass key through and then pressing print screen, which
resulted in jaws saying nothing, but no results either.
So my question is, if it's creating screen shots when I do this,
where's
it putting them? If not, how do I do it?
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
Christy
