Microsoft Programming Certifications

Hi,
Some time back, we talked about some members who got Microsoft programming 
certifications. Can anyone point me to resources about what kinds of 
certifications Microsoft has, what's involved to get them, and possibly reading 
material about whatever languages involved? I know that we have the resources 
from nonvisualdevelopment.org to use.
