Does anyone know if the JAWS Use command is working differently in JAWS10?

My JAWS scripts for my Dynamic Live Chat app at http://gutterstar.net/dynamic_live_chat.php work correctly from the installer in JAWS 7,8, and 9. But they do not work at all in JAWS10.

When the JS Installer merges the scripts in JAWS7,8, and 9, it keeps the original script file intact, meaning all of the scripts are present within the modified source.

However, when the source is viewed for JAWS10, I see the following instead.

Use "Internet Explorer_fs.Jsb"

Use "gsDynamicChatPlugin.jsb"

Void Function _Filler()

SayString("This is to fill a container .jss enough for a valid .jsb")

EndFunction

Hey Jamal, any idea why the installer is no longer doing this? Or is this a difference in the way that JAWS processes script files now? This has got me stumped. I can't get any automatic functionality to operate from the command
Use "gsDynamicChatPlugin.jsb"

It's like it's not even there, which is really weird.

FYI, in case anyone comes across this particular issue, it appears that when you use the Merge command within the installer, such as when merging a set of scripts into the Default.jss script set, it will also merge the JCF file within your external scripts as well, which totally screws up your default.jcf when using JAWS10.

This appears to also be true when the JCF file is sitting in your JAWS\10\Settings\ENU folder as well, and doesn't necessarily have to be included in the JS Installer for the extra JCF file to be merged at runtime, which is pretty confusing when debugging...

I found the problem (an incorrect file name) and have uploaded a new
version dated November 6 at
http://EmpowermentZone.com/jsxsetup.exe

Subject: JAWS Script Exchange Installer Error?

Hi, I was trying to install JS Exchange 1.9, but am getting the following
error:

Setup
Unable to execute file:
C:\DOCUME~1\bryan\LOCALS~1\Temp\is-FGED0.tmp\isetup-5.1.9.exe
CreateProcess failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.
OK

Any idea why this would be happening?

Thanks,

Bryan
