Hi. From what I can find out, the address for sending tweets to twitter is
username:password@xxxxxxxxxxx/statuses/update.xml?status=tweet, false
where username is the username of the account and password is the same. Tweet is the text of the tweet you want to send.
Unfortunately, from my testing, this doesn't work.
If you find out anything new, please let me know.

Subject: Help With A Small Twitter Application

Hi,
Can someone point me to information about this please? I want to write a small application that does the following.

* Read a file.

* Log onto Twitter with the credentials I give it.

* Send the contents of the file as a Tweet.

I want to schedule this as a Windows task that runs at a certain time every week.

Thanks.

Jim
