the earthquake thing is nothing, its less than the natural disasters anywhere else, I've lived in California for decades, but I have had friends and family in Florida and gotten live reports on the weather there, and have lived in Oregon and Kentucky, and looked five tornadoes in the face, one coming right up the road that was "main street" of the town I was in, which went off the road at a creek crossing and went just up the other side of us!

sat there monitoring the reports while our friends from a few blocks and a Mobil home park away sat there watching along with kids cats and dogs from there places since we had a solid brick house it was safer.

give me cal and its little trembles any day of the week.

ken I understand your other reason, it's stupid of cal to not allow ferrets, especially since there here anyway, know of one woman breeding them, and two others who own them and all right here in the state.

one thing I will say, it's expensive out here, when I was in Kentucky assistance level income was 650 a month, out here at the same time it was 850, and is 950 at the moment

and if your used to icy weather and enjoy the cold of winter, I wouldn't advise moving out here either, you'll sweat to death

take care,
inthane

earthquakes? local crazy population? (My brother lives in MountainView which
makes that an attractive place for me to move, if I ever move again, but I
don't think my family would agree to it, and given I need assistance moving (wheelchair, light independence, and all) I can't really move without them.
I wonder if the jobs they offer all require california residency.

Sucks that they are in California if they were in almost any other state I
would go work for them.
