Ok, might have something to do with the sort of shockwave flash container object’s working, or not, on other platforms. It is the slightly older version from this site: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager/ You could maybe try out some of their demos and see if they work at all...? I am typing numbers 1-9 into the box and nothing is happening. I am not sure but I think this may be a bug in Linux flash. The sounds in webvisum do not work either. Sounds in youtube/flash content on websites work. the sound in fire.fm works too. This and webvisum are the only 2 that haven't done sound for me. thanks storm -- Registered Linux user number 508465: http://counter.li.org/ My blog, Thoughts of a Dragon: http://www.stormdragon.us/ Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/stormdragon2976 On Wed, 2010-09-22 at 12:42 +0200, Jacob Kruger wrote: This one makes use of both the JQuery DHTML library, and something called the SoundManager that uses a 'hidden' flash object to (I think) preload the MP3 clips to then play them in sort of real-time: http://www.blindza.co.za/JQDrumming/ Basically, focus in the text field, and type in numbers from 1-9 using the number row.
