No. I tried it a few months ago with JAWS 9.0.2169, and I can't remember if even the JAWS cursor could see anything. The PC cursor could focus on the controls and the like, but JAWS didn't read them properly and read things like "panel wnd", something oddball like that.

You must have tried it long long ago or with something other than jaws. I have used zoenalarm since back in Jaws 5.0 day. True it has got more accessible but it even worked back then. Icouldnt' even configure even the basics of settings. I also recommend a program called win patrol, which monitors anassortment of things, gives you active and accessible control over them, andwill alert you to anything trying to make changes in your registry and/orfile associations on your comp, and there is both a free and a expanded payfor version of it (again I'm using the freebee and doing fine with it) HTH, inthane----- Original Message ----- From: JimTo: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2008 5:17 PM Subject: Advice About Protection Software Hi,I need to get spyware / malware detection software and a firewall.
