Hi Suzie, Jeff Fidler, a member of this list when last I knew is a very good Java developer. He recommended Thinking In Java and the Core Java series. If I am right. Bookshare has Core Java. I'm not sure if they have the latest version, but that probably makes little difference to a beginner as I am. He also recommended that I get Eclipse and start with that right from the beginning. I was thinking that I would use EdSharp and the JDK to cut down on the learning curve at least until I get through some of the basics. What do you think? Thanks.
